FAQ'S and POLICIES

WHAT IS THE PAINTED PRICE?
The price that is listed with each item on my UNFINISHED inventory page is the price to have the piece painted in a color I have in stock.  Stripping and staining of drawers or the top may be a small additional charge.

HOW TO GET A QUOTE ON A PIECE YOU HAVE
If you would like a quote on a piece that you have and would like painted, send me a photo, along with a description of what color you are looking for to SIMPLEREDESIGN@YAHOO.COM

PICK UP/DELIVERY
I understand that not everyone has a means of transporting larger pieces of furniture, so I offer a deliver or pick up service.  Because I safely transport everything in my enclosed trailer and often times need the help of my husband,  the rate will be $75 within the GR area.  If outside of the GR area, please contact me for a delivery quote.  I try to keep it reasonable and fair for both of us:)

SHIPPING
I do offer shipping through Plycon, which is a white glove delivery service.  I would need full payment of the piece or pieces beforehand, then would forward you the shipping quote to view and pay for on line.  If you would like to find a shipping company on your own, please contact me for my address but keep in mind that I only work with white glove delivery services that are able to come to my shop and wrap and package the pieces themselves.

CUSTOM COLORS
My list prices are to have the piece done in any color I have in stock. I have a page on my website with my current color options that you can choose from but can get ANY color custom in the lacquer I use for a $50 charge.  I love to help you save money by using a color I have but worth every penny to get the exact color you want.

FAUX FINISHES
Although I do not charge for simply distressing a piece, there is a $75-$100 charge for faux finishes like glazing because of the extra time to glaze, clear coating afterwards and the extra products involved.

EXTRA REPAIR WORK
I expect to have some amount of repair work on most pieces brought to me during the prep stage but if there is an enormous about of repair work needed, there may be a small additional fee.

NOTE...I work very hard on each piece but because I am often working on pieces that are many years old, there may be imperfections that I am unable to fix.  With that said, will always do my best to make a piece as good as I can get it:)

HARDWARE 
It will be the customers responsibility for the cost of new hardware. 
Because filling in holes for different sized hardware takes extra time and steps (when done right), as well as drilling new holes for the new hardware, there is a $15 charge.  
If I am going to refinish the existing hardware for you, which I am happy to do, there will be a $10-$20 charge, depending on the number of pieces (example...an entire bedroom set, or a piece that's hardware happens to come apart into 3 seperate pieces)

PICKING UP YOUR PIECES
Please pick up your pieces within 2 weeks of it being complete.  The sooner the better as I am always needing the space.

  1. Hello:) The prices to all of my pieces for sale, both FINISHED and UNFINISHED are on those pages above each item. To get a quote or idea of how much it would be to have me do a piece you have and bring me, I would need a photo or 2 of it along with an idea of what type of finish you want (Ex…solid color/modern, distressed and glazed). Hope that helps!
